IN DEVELOPMENT

Re-Wilding Experience

Re-Wilding is GratitudeAmerica's next post-traumatic growth program, now in development at our Fort Valley, Georgia campus. It will combine time in nature, group experiences, personal mentoring, and ancestral skills to help veterans build resilience and rediscover purpose, outside the walls of any classroom.

We're building Re-Wilding the way we build everything: on the science of post-traumatic growth, shaped by veterans, and proven before it scales. The first step is a pilot program, and we're seeking partners to help make it happen.

THE LAND

A gift of land, and a place to grow

Re-Wilding will take place on 151 acres of woods and lakes in Fort Valley, Georgia, donated to GratitudeAmerica by the late William A. "Al" Davis, founder of Davis Excavating & Grading in Warner Robins. Al believed the veterans who served this country deserved a place to heal and grow. This land is his legacy, and Re-Wilding is how we intend to honor it.

Help us launch the pilot

Re-Wilding is entirely privately funded, like all of our programs. Foundations, businesses, and individuals who want to help bring a new nature-based model of post-traumatic growth to veterans can partner with us on the pilot.
