The dolphin experience had to be the most therapeutic point for me. The connection between the dolphin and myself felt incredible and took my mind off all that I had been through.

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT…

  • A 4-day immersive and intensive experience with many outdoor activities centered around nature-based recreation. A supportive environment in which families and friends can connect with their peers, gain critical coping skills, and interact with licensed counselors to begin healing where needed. Large and small group discussions led by expert facilitators about concepts of post-traumatic growth.

  • Participants make connections, learn ways to navigate challenges, discover resources that aid in healing, and have a “time out” to refresh their minds. Open to anyone who lost a loved one in service to our nation, to include all family members, representing all conflicts, all branches of service and all circumstance of death. Strengthen and restore yourself, enjoy the natural beauty of each location, be inspired by fun outdoor activities, learn about resources and supportive strategies.

  • All accommodations, food, and activities are provided free of charge; transportation is not provided.

  • Facilitated by Vets, members of the community, and peers.
